This track places the listener in an atmosphere of a Japanese forest, along with meditative drones, and improvised saxophone. Released 2019. Shinrin-yoku is a Japanese word that means “forest bathing.” The method is simple: go to a forest, walk slowly, and breath deeply. The effects are calming and healing. Saxophonist Ricky Sweum, lived and worked in Japan for more than half a decade and was inspired by Japanese culture. This experience deepened his mindfulness practice.
